I’m David Edwards, founder of SecureGov Cloud Solutions — a SAM.gov-registered, CAGE-coded federal contracting entity built around identity and access management (IAM) and cloud security. My background is 18+ years in enterprise IT operations, including network and production support in a regulated healthcare environment, and I’ve spent the past two years building focused, hands-on cybersecurity depth on top of it.
I hold the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification, along with GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), CompTIA Security+, Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Linux Essentials. I run a working Splunk SIEM home lab, build and secure AWS IAM policies under least-privilege principles, and I’m currently completing a B.S. in Cybersecurity Technology at UMGC alongside Python coursework.
SecureGov Cloud Solutions exists to bring that same operational discipline and hands-on technical depth to federal, state, and local government IT and cybersecurity subcontracting — with a long-term focus on identity-fabric security: Okta, AWS IAM, and the access-management challenges federal agencies are working through right now.
